People & Collaboration

Intranets are becoming more and more mission critical because of their ability to unify the voice of the organization and, with Enterprise 2.0 technologies, to embrace the voice of the users.

Enterprise 2.0 is the term for the technologies and business practices that liberate the workforce from the constraints of legacy communication and productivity tools like email. It provides business managers with access to the right information at the right time through a web of interconnected applications, services and devices. Enterprise 2.0 makes the collective intelligence of an organization accessible and useful, which translates into a huge competitive advantage through increased innovation, productivity and agility.

IntelliEnterprise encompasses  a number of Enterprise 2.0 features that embrace the values of openness, distributed organization structure, knowledge transparence, user-driven flow of information and simple management by users. This enables a simple, agile and contextual environment for users to collaborate, create and share important information in a timely fashion.  This collaboration can extend across local or distributed workforces, even reaching networks of customers and partners.  Providing this easy, yet rich platform benefits the  company, the employees and the customers alike.
With virtual meeting places it’s easy for people to connect to share ideas, store project-specific information, establish procedures, review and discuss documents and deliverables, resolve issues, make decisions, and get work done.
The Enterprise 2.0 module includes Wikis, Blogs, Shared Workgroup Sites, Tagging, User Profiles, DiscussionForums, Content Ratings, User Feedback and Instant  Massaging.  These tools help create an open, environment, that encourages user participation and empowers all employees to help create and organize the information they need.
