Profiles are the directory and expertise location component that helps you find people across your organization using keywords to identify expertise, current projects, and responsibilities.
The layout of the profile page is completely customizable by the user. IntelliFolks provides several so called "Portlets" - the building blocks of each page - including:
My Profile: providing contact and personal information about the user
My Last Publications: information recently published by the user
My Tags: shows the tags most frequently used by the user providing quick insights about the areas of interest and expertise
Organization Network: shows the position of the user within the corporate structure including direct reports and managers
My Communities: the communities where the user is a member
My Bookmarks: a list of the public bookmarks of the user. Besides this public list of bookmarks users could also create additional folders for both private and public bookmarks.
My Blog: each user could create his personal web log.
The Employee Directory provides the basic employee information for the profile pages. Administrators could add custom fields and define which fields could be updated by users on their profile pages.

Profile Pages
Profile pages contain information about colleagues that people in their company can see. Information includes a photo, interests, work and education history, communities, and network. The personal tag cloud shows the knowledge work activity - this allows to quickly discover experts among colleagues.

Network
IntelliFolks manages and visualizes both the position in the official organizational structure (like people reporting to the person) and the social network / the connections of the user. The connections are maintained by each user.
