The right data, at just the right time. Now Workplace is a new kind of mobile-first app that surfaces contextually relevant information to users, based on recent events or approaching deadlines inside the corporate data infrastructure. Such data is made accessible to Now Workplace through the use of easy-to-configure data connectors. Data connectors extend well beyond the Intranet itself, and connect it to a huge variety of on-premise business applications and databases but also for the first time a host of cloud-based storages as well as business and consumer app APIs. Connectors that are available at the start include SharePoint, Oracle, Dropbox, Box, Salesforce, Outlook 365, Google Apps for Work and many more.

It extends the static Intranet with an innovative Card-based UI that shows data from a wide range of on-premise or cloud-based data sources and APIs.” said Martin Amm, adenin’s CEO. “Cards are an innovative way to show users the right information at just the right time. Thus users have all the information they need available at a glance, and will never miss an update again.”
Features Now Workplace lets IntelliEnterprise customers create “Cards” that constantly monitors one or multiple sources for updates. Once such updates have been detected, a new “Card” will be pushed to the user’s stream of Cards, where they can either open it for more details or swipe it away. Through the open data architecture Now Workplace also offers a swift and convenient search across all of the data connectors, effectively offering companies an enterprise-wide search with all security and authentications methods remaining intact. Lastly, Now Workplace offers an Assistant feature that uses Natural Language Processing (NLP), voice recognition and voice feedback to let users communicate with the service in a human way, like they were speaking to a colleague. Extensive customization options allow customers to precisely tune their Assistant to understand precisely the commands and sources that are specific to the organization.
Now Workplace can run as a portlet inside IntelliEnterprise but also offers the option to be used as a stand-alone HTML5 mobile-first web app. The web app is designed using responsive web design (RWD) and can be used on any device with a browser, regardless of screen size.
