How to: Change a lost password

Sometimes we lose or forget our passwords. Luckily, with Now Assistant you can reset the password of any local account, including an administrator's account as long as you have the access to the server that runs Now Assistant.

To change the password for an account you'll need to use the command line

To learn more about using the command line interface please have a look at this article.

After you've started the command line type in the following:

user set-password/UserName:<your_username> /Password:<your_new_password>

This will reset the password for the account with your specified user name.
