The Enterprise Portal is the heart of IntelliEnterprise. It is a flexible, web-based desktop that integrates all IntelliEnterprise modules and other web applications into a single user experience, enabling users to create a personalized view of the business.

The Enterprise Portal offers extensive personalization features to streamline information delivery and to present the right material, at the right time, to a user’s intranet desktop. Each user can modify, organize, add, and delete content according to their preferences. Therefore the users become completely self-sufficient for many job-related tasks and enabled to learn and cooperate on their own. Personalized information delivery increases the relevance and value of that information. That’s why all intranet content is personalized for users, based on such things as job function and work location, as are the applications they can access.

A single page as “ONE STOP SHOP”: IntelliEnterprise provides a company homepage as well as special user pages. A single page that acts as the employee’s home base and the primary source of links to important tasks, schedules, tools, and news.

Portal Engine The portal engine integrates all IntelliEnterprise modules and existing web applications into a unified user expierence.	Portals & Portlets Portlets are the building blocks for Portals. Besides the user interface Portlets of the IntelliEnterprise modules adenin provides also Portlets to integrate 3rd party applications and tools.	Portals Portals are sets of predefined pages of content and applications that provide shared information and collaboration tools for a project team, a department, a branch office, or the whole company. Administrators or Business Experts build these Portals simply by selecting the appropriate Portlets from the extensive Portlet Library.	My Pages My Pages - the Personal Home Page. Users can have several personalized pages which present the information and services chosen by the user.
Tag Cloud Portlet A tag cloud is a set of related tags with corresponding usage frequency. Tags are usually single words and are typically listed alphabetically, and the importance of a tag is shown with font size. Tag clouds are very common from Web 2.0 sites like Flickr or del.icio.us.	Report Viewer Portlet The report viewer portlet allows to embed reports created with the SQL Server 2000/2005 reporting services into any portal. The Reporting Services are a free AddOn from MS for SQL Server. They can be leveraged to securely deliver pre-defined reports, making key reports easily accessible to end users in the context that is most relevant for them.	RSS Portlet The RSS portlet allows to integrate external news feed into any portal page. External news are an easy way to provide relevant and always up to date information. Remote Desktop Portlet This Portlet provides almost the same functionality as the full Terminal Services Client, but is designed to deliver the functionality over the Web within the Enterprise Portal. Having a clock that shows the time in various countries can be a tremendous help, especially when trying to schedule meetings and events or determine when people might be at their desks. The World Clock Portlet allows the display of analog clocks from up to 6 different time zones (powered by worldtimeserver.com).	Image Grabber Integrates any image available on the Web into a Portal. For best performance, the image is automatically copied to the content cache.
