We are looking for a technical writer to join our support and development team. The applicant will be responsible to produce user documentation and installation guides to enhance our product’s quality. We value collaboration and creativity and need someone that challenges the current way we deal with the user experience of our key software solution. Thus, you need to be creative as well as disciplined.

The right candidate will also focus on innovation handling and quality assurance. We periodically introduce new features to our software and you will be responsible to thoroughly test these and provide feedback to our developers. Also you will be involved in rolling these out to our customers, by preparing what we call “What’s new” brochures that list and describe new features.


Skills & Requirements

Responsibilities:
Maintaining user and administrator documentation of our key software solution
Collaborate with external project teams with involvement of other software developers; project manager, usability specialists and other domain experts
Liaising with users on support related questions
Form and follow quality procedures and test standards, execute manual tests for multiple software builds within scheduled releases

Requirements:
Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Collaborative skills with an eye towards efficiency and creativity
Facility to manage several different scale projects simultaneously, delivering high quality on time
A strong design sense and understanding of usability concerns

Prospects

We reward performance and therefore promotion prospects include becoming a Second Level Supporter or a Quality Assurance Manager who will be responsible to maintain our knowledge database, based on frequent support enquiries.
